The Folks Hotel Konepaja - Helsinki

Positive, The room was spacious and had a super comfy bed with lots of fluffy pillows. I appreciated the access to the sauna which was included in my stay. The toiletries were excellent, and I loved using my own streaming apps on the TV. The area is filled with restaurants and bars, and the reception super nice team!

staff is very friendly and you can park your car on site. the hotel offers excellent and spotless rooms with modern design and a very comfy bed, as example, i am very pleased about that.

Good modern and practical unit with a cosy decor.

The shower area lacks proper separation, leading to excess water on the bathroom floor. Storage options in the room are minimal, with just a few hangers available for your belongings. Parking access is convoluted, requiring a walk from the parking area after check-in, which doesn't make life easier with bags in tow.

Great modern unit with modern design. The amazing and excellent location for the price, short walk to a big shopping centre, tram or bus and the Albina restaurant. Plus, 5 minutes drive from a long-running zoo.

The design and style of Folks Hotel Konepaja stood out. The common kitchen caught my eye with its stylish SMEG appliances. I loved the wellness area, especially the sauna. It's one of the best I've ever experienced. The staff, particularly Heidi and her colleague, were really good, allowing late access to the kitchen and sauna even after check-out. The room was spacious and clean. On the downside, I faced a minor inconvenience with the electricity shock from opening doors, likely due to the carpet and tech fabrics. It would have been nice to have a complimentary bottle of water upon check-in. The hotel has a unique vibe, but some attention to small details could enhance the experience.

The great and the meh

The location was perfect! With a warm and helpful staff making my stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious Finnish goodies that added a lovely local touch.

While it had great amenities, the layout was confusing. The occasional noise from the street detracted from an otherwise enjoyable atmosphere.

The hotel offers a stylish ambiance and a convenient location near the tram. Our room lacked sufficient storage for luggage.

The hotel is located in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to public transportation. We loved that the next tram station was just a short walk away, great to reach downtown in about 15 minutes. Our family room was not only spacious, but it was also clean, providing ample space for our kids to play.

Occasionally, the Wi-Fi was slow, making it a bit tricky to keep the kids entertained.

Such a quirky, fun place! I adored the cozy common kitchen and the cool design in every nook. Plus, there's a sauna and gym, which are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring!

A complimentary bottle of water at check-in would've been nice-I'm not asking for a gold-plated water bottle or anything! And the bathroom storage? Well, I could've used an extra shelf or two, darling.

Just a proper fit for a fleeting moment in Helsinki with very good value for money. The sauna area was a relaxing highlight for me, offering a nice way to unwind after a long day. Bring your own toiletries if you plan to use the sauna. They don't provide any there.

Very nice experience with spacious room, delicious breakfast options, and an cute staff. The afternoon tea for my dog was a good surprise!

I really enjoyed my stay with a delicious breakfast and easy payment options that made it all smooth. There’s a great sauna and leisure room for some relaxation after a day of exploring. It would’ve been nice to have complimentary coffee in the room, but that didn’t ruin my experience! ☕

Couldn't recommend more for a weekend trip

Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and convenient location made our stay enjoyable, especially with the vibrant neighborhood and easy access to public transportation just a short walk away.
